His Hands Ministries
His Hands Ministries trips are on hold until we can safely participate in group events.
His Hands Ministries is an outreach program to help people in the community. His Hands Ministries is working with organizations such as Iredell Council on Aging, Barium Springs, The United Way, Cornelius-Davidson Child Development Center and more. There are many serving opportunities available. If you would like more information on the His Hands Ministries please contact Tom Robb at hishands@newhopemissionschurch.org
Some of the His Hands Ministries projects:
Family Reunification Project – Climax NC
New Hope made 5 trips to refurbish a home in Climax, NC which helped to reunite a family. Along with Barium Springs, members of New Hope Missions Church and Holy Trinity in Statesville worked together to remodel a home so that a child in foster care could be reunited with the family. The first outing was March 16th where 20 people helped. New Hope made a total of 5 trips where drywall, painting, flooring and other projects were completed.
Selma Burke Center
Cornelius-Davidson Child Development
Winterizing Homes
United Way Day of Caring
Race City Festival, Downtown Mooresville – Handed out free water bottles, magnets and prayer. Lots of people took us up on praying for them, which was a great blessing! Also, had free “help” booklets on a variety of topics available, and then just talked with people about our church.
Mooresville Soup Kitchen Serving
Cooked and served Dinner, and provided Worship and Gospel message, for “Saturday Night at the Kitchen.” It was rewarding and fun, as usual.
You will be blessed as you help people in need.
